Box-O-Box
Project Overview
Box-O-Box sells care packages targeted at college students. They needed their new site design, which they had from a third party designer, coded into a working web page, and wanted to start marketing on the Internet, so they asked us to perform Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on their site as well.
The Challenge
As we began working with Box-O-Box, we realized that in addition to SEO and site coding, they were also in need of automated billing and shipping tools, and a CMS so they could manage their site on their own.
The Solution
Our Search Engine Optimization tasks for Box-O-Box consisted of Keyword research and on page optimization. The site went from unlisted on Google and Yahoo! searches to the top page for the targeted searches: 'College Care Packages' and 'College Care Box'.
To automate their billing and shipping tasks, we integrated an Authorize.net payment gateway, as well as a UPS shipping calculator into their checkout pages, taking away two time consuming tasks that were previously handled manually, and expediting customer payments into their bank account.
For site management, we built a custom CMS with Product Management, Order Management, and Sales Tracking modules. The client now has control over their site, products, and orders via one login to an online business management tool (our custom built CMS).
