30 Delivery
Project Overview
30 Delivery is a new company based entirely online. They needed a site designed and developed that could list their products, make sales, and could be easily updated by the client via a Content Management System (CMS).
The Challenge
The client had some specific features that needed to be customized for them. They needed a way to alert customers that they could only deliver products during certain times and to certain locations, and they also had minimum order prices, and a delivery charge if orders were below a certain amount. These features also needed to be editable by the client, and in order to add them, we needed to program them as additional modules into the client's CMS.
The Solution
We used the popular Magento e-commerce system for the client's CMS and e-commerce needs, which also gave them control over orders, customer contacts, and product pricing and inventory. We were able to modify Magento's code base to add the additional custom features the client needed. 30 Delivery is now open for business and making deliveries to their clientelle around Boston University, MIT and Harvard.
